The Society Islands are part of the Tahitian Islands, also known as French Polynesia. These South Pacific islands are divided into two groups, the Windward Islands and the Leeward Islands. Each of the Society Islands has a small airport. Faaa International Airport is located in Tahiti, and is the largest airport of the islands.
