About Hawaii

Hawaii Weather

The weather in Hawaii is consistent throughout the year and each of the islands share similar climates. The southwestern coasts are sunny, dry and are lined with sandy beaches while the northeastern side boasts lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls and pounding surf.

There are only two seasons in Hawaii; summer (May to October) and winter (November to April). The average summer temperature is 29°C and the winter temperature averages 25°C.

Most of the rainfall occurs in the mountains and valleys on the northeastern side of the islands. The wettest months are during winter but this shouldn't disrupt any travel plans as the weather is localised. If it is raining on your side of the island, there is sure to be a sunny spot to be found around the coast.

Using this weather information is just a guide as things do change from year to year depending on the northern oscillations and alternating La Nina/El Nino weather patterns.
