Malekula is the second largest island in Vanuatu and is the most culturally and linguistacally diverse. There are over thirty distinct languages spoken on Malekula. The interior of Malaluka Island is mountainous, rugged and covered with forest offering good hiking and bird watching. Norsup and Lakatoro are the main towns on Malekula, Vanuatu.
