Tonga Visas and Restrictions

Visa Information

Most visitors to Tonga are granted a 31-day tourist visa upon presentation of an onward ticket and a passport with at least six months’ validity.

A visit to Tonga can be extended for up to six months at any immigration office. There is a small cost for this service and you will need to provide a passport photo for each extension and a photocopy of your onward ticket. You will also need to show evidence of having sufficient funds to support yourself during your stay in Tonga.
