Public Transport - Tahiti offers visitors two public transport options. The first is to travel by 'Le Truck', which offers frequent stops and a chance to meet locals or by regular bus. Buses usually have designated stops, but in most cases the drivers will stop if you flag them down.

Taxi - Taxi's can be organised by your hotel concierge, and once you are in Papeete, the attractions, activities and dining options are within walking distance.

Private Car - Car hire can be organised through your hotel or directly from the airport when you arrive.

Guided Tours - A guided tour is a great way to see the island of Tahiti, exploring the coast and visiting the points of interest located in the interior of the island.

Boat - Motorboat and yacht charters or outrigger canoe tours can also be arranged by your hotel.
